Anne (she/her) is an Albany Park potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden, drawing inspiration from mid-century forms and stained glass designs.

Workshop Description:

In this hands-on workshop for adults and older teens, participants will create a design on their own ceramic tumbler (wheelthrown by Anne) using tape resist and glaze application. Anne will demonstrate her approach to mapping out and applying taped designs, as well as how to glaze a piece effectively. She will also have some of her finished pieces on hand to help visualize the end result.

Please note that the glazed tumblers will be fired by Anne in her studio kiln and then returned to Hey I Thought Of You for pickup approximately one week after the workshop. The finished tumblers will be functional, food safe pieces. Anne will also have a small selection of her pottery available for purchase during the event.
