Learn the basics of handbuilding functional pieces from clay. Each participant will make a lantern using the slab technique.
About this Event

Learn the basics of handbuilding functional pieces from clay. Each participant will make a lantern using the slab technique, then carve into the clay body creating a design for the light to shine through. Pieces will be fired and ready to be painted approx. 3 weeks after the class. Once bisque-fired, return to paint your lantern anytime during regular open studio hours.

All skill levels welcome.

For ages 16+.
