Join our workshop on Saturday, May 9th to make a ceramic and raffia dish. Beginning with a custom-made ceramic base that will be supplied, the finished piece is created by building up the sides with cord and raffia. Leave with a sophisticated finished piece, new skills, and a fun time to remember.Each participant will receive:
A take-home pattern used during the class
All supplies needed to complete the project
Clear step-by-step verbal and visual instruction
A supportive and encouraging learning environment
There will be a 30 min break for lunch. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch and any snacks they may want. Tea, coffee will be provided.

Location: Museum at Campbell River. Please note the workshop will take place in the foyer of the Museum.

About the Facilitator:
Katherine Rankin is an artist in weaving, spinning and dyeing natural fibers, creating stunning pieces that blend artistry with technical skill. Katherine specializes in luxurious silk scarves to cozy hand spun wool blankets.
