Where: Departing from Centennial Elementary School (Parking Lot NE of the School) There is ample parking if you choose to drive to Centennial School. The ride will also end here.When: Wheels roll at 7 AM, Saturday August 22rd
Route: TBD (weather/wind dependent)
Pacing: 16-18 mph (depending on wind). The group will be maintaining a 16-18 mph speed in a paceline. Riders should be comfortable riding in a group and comfortable with drafting. If you are inexperienced in riding in groups, it is suggested to go on group rides prior. Great Northern Bicycle Company has group rides Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights
Waiver:
FlatLands Cycling Members already have a waiver signed with their membership for FLC events for the year.
We'll have a waiver available for non-members to sign before departing.
There will be at least 2 water/re-fueling stops on the route. The ride is self-supported, bring/buy what you need for the day.
Packing list for Century ride
• 2 water bottles
• Nutrition (gels, bars, etc.)
• At least 1 extra tube
• Co2 or pump
• Multitool
• Taillight
• Money and/or credit card
• Cell phone
Wear your FlatLands Jersey if you have one for the ride.
It is required to wear a helmet on this ride.
No riding in aerobars, this is for the safety of the group
