About this Event
Hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Business (CSB), this event offers an excellent opportunity to reflect on how businesses can thrive while respecting people and the planet.
Agenda
What if growth and profit for companies could coexist with ethics, respect for people and the environment? For 50 years, a movement of change makers has been proving that it is possible to work, produce, and manage differently.
This is the focus of the thought-provoking documentary, 'Responsible: There is no business to be done on a broken planet'.
Produced by Welcome to the Jungle and ELIOTNESS, delves into how companies can align growth and profit with ethics, sustainability and social responsibility.
After the screening, CSB Director, Professor Jo Meehan, will chair a panel discussion focused on the role of businesses and individuals in promoting sustainability and responsible leadership.
Confirmed panellists:
- Dr Regina Frank, Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship, Centre for Sustainable Business
- Lucy Bridge, Social Value Lead, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority
Additional panellists to be confirmed.
As well as learning more about business sustainability, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and network over some ethically sourced refreshments!
We welcome any businesses, industry stakeholders and policymakers that are interested in exploring how business can drive sustainability forward, as well as researchers, PhD and master's students with an interest in sustainability and supply chain management.
