You'll hear the artist share insights into his sculpture in our free Brickworks display. You'll also discover his wider artistic practice which explores the complex interplay between social, political and cultural differences across the globe.
Kader Attia has gained an international reputation for works that explore the notion of Repair, a concept he has been developing over the last twenty years both philosophically in his writings and symbolically in his oeuvre as a visual artist.
Biographies:
Kader Attia is an Algerian-French artist, born on 30 December 1970.
Karl Sharro is a Lebanese-Iraqi-British architect and satirist. He lives in London and blogs about the Middle East as Karl reMarks.
Accessibility:
Tate Liverpool is temporarily located at RIBA North, Mann Island, a short distance (425m) along Liverpool’s iconic waterfront. There is step free access to the main entrance. There is a lift to the first floor gallery, or alternatively you can take the stairs.

- The nearest Changing Places toilet is located at the Museum of Liverpool
- Ear defenders can be borrowed from the front desk
