We are inviting you to the Open Day of the Centre for Doctoral Training Graphene-NOWNANO in the National Graphene Institute (NGI) at the University of Manchester.
CDT Graphene-NOWNANO (www.graphene-nownano.manchester.ac.uk) offers an interdisciplinary PhD programme built on our world-leading expertise in the science and technology of graphene and two-dimensional (2D) materials. CDT students receive initial state-of-the-art training in fundamentals of nanoscience in general and 2D materials in particular, their applications, and key experimental and modelling techniques. This is followed by a 3½ year research project you will select from up to 40 available projects in more than 20 top-rated research groups across a broad range of disciplines including Experimental and Theoretical Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Biomaterials, Nanomedicine.
The Open Day will include an overview of the CDT programme and a tour of the NGI facilities.
