🗣 One of the jewels in Middlesbrough’s Crown is holding a special celebration event to mark its re-opening after a major refurbishment – and everyone’s invited.💬 The historic Central Library – 114 years old and a true icon of the town centre – has been given a new lease of life thanks to nearly £2 million of funding from Arts Council England (ACE).
All are welcome to attend a special event on Friday, March 6 when Middlesbrough Mayor Chris Cooke and ACE Libraries Director Luke Burton will formally re-open the Centre Square building.
Tea and coffee will be served from 10.30am, with the ceremony set to take place at 11.30am.
