About the trail:
This section of the path is a smooth, paved, 10‑foot‑wide multi‑use trail. Our leaders will help keep an eye out for bicycle traffic and encourage everyone to stay to the right. Most of the route stays under a 3% grade, with one short, steeper stretch (around 10%) right at the start. Benches appear occasionally along the way.
Restrooms:
An accessible portable toilet is available at the parking lot. Additional running‑water restrooms with accessible stalls are located at the pavilion across the park, reachable by paved paths.
What to expect:
No prior birding experience is needed. Come prepared for the weather, bring water, and let us know if you have any questions or accessibility needs. We’ll do our best to accommodate, reach out to Amy at 512‑993‑0242 or email [email protected].
We look forward to birding with you!
