As our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we are excited to celebrate this historic milestone through Mission 250, a series of meaningful community efforts.In honor of the birthday of the Relief Society—the largest women’s organization in the world—we are hosting a community-wide Day of Service. We invite donors, volunteers, families, and friends to come together to share their time and talents in support of those in need throughout our region.
Saturday, March 14 | 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Service opportunities available for all ages.
*Participants may take part in a variety of projects, including:
*A blood drive
*Hygiene kit and backpack painting project with local artist and NSU professor Matt DeFord
*CPR training
*Hat and blanket donation station for vulnerable populations
*Letter-writing to veterans and troops
*Genealogy library access
*Quilting and visiting opportunities
*Learn about JustServe
Lunch will be provided.
Together, we can honor this historic season through service and make a lasting difference in our community.
