About this Event
Are you interested in birds? If so, come and join us and help us survey which birds are visiting our Cemlyn Reserve this winter. Cemlyn Nature Reserve is particularly good for visiting wildfowl and waders and we're interested to see which birds are using this reserve.
Our Nature Counts project needs your help in recording nature on our reserves. We will be recording lots of nature across a number of our reserves over the next year.
No experience is necessary, just an interest in nature and being outdoors. Bring your binoculars and bird ID books if you have them.
The shingle ridge is inaccessible for wheelchair users and prams, and challenging for those of limited mobility. Walking the full length of the shingle ridge can be very strenuous and the steep shingle makes it unsuitable for prams and wheelchairs.
We will walk out onto the ridge for the survey, however it is possible to help with the survey from more accessible areas around the reserve.
There are no toilets on this reserve and it is advisable to bring a warm drink and suitable outdoor clothing.
Dogs on leads.
