Our focus for Saturday 9/6 will be clearing/cleaning up the areas that our hired mowers are unable to do, as well as weeding around gravestones. And removing as many invasive vines as possible off trees and elsewhere in the cemetery. We want the cemetery looking spiffy for the Roots & Stones fundraiser the following weekend. All help appreciated!Location of the public entrance: 11027 Clinton Avenue, Hagerstown. Please do not drive up the driveway (there is no parking/turn-around at the top); use street parking.
We have a few loaner tools and gloves, but if you have basic tools to bring that's a big help. We usually will need clippers/loppers, reciprocating saws, and hard-tine rakes. Consider writing your name on your tools or somehow marking them distinctively to avoid mix-ups.
1) Our start time is 9:00 am. Stopping no later than 11:00 am. We understand not everyone may be able to stay that entire time.
2) Heavy rain/wind will cancel.
3) Please note that there are NO RESTROOM facilities available on the site.
