Celtic Rush is a group of six friends that have been making music together since 2012. We met at an open Irish session, and went from there. Since that time we have performed in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania at festivals, weddings, concert halls, and pubs. We perform predominantly traditional Celtic music, but not always in a traditional manner. Join us for a song, hornpipe, or something with our own twist! Our members and instrumentation contribute to our unique sound. Slainte`!Put on by Folknet at Standing Rock Cultural Arts in Kent, OH on the first Sunday of months in the spring and fall, this concert series has a history of over 50 years in the Kent area. Suggested donation at the door is $15, $12 for Folknet members, and an additional $5 covers all the children in a family with a responsible adult.
