Red Hook resident, Joan McGrenaghan, her Co-Director, Meghan Craft, and their “Celtic Heels” Performance Troupe have been delighting Audiences in the Hudson Valley of New York, as well as in Western Mass, for over 40 years. Joan is First Generation American, whose parents hailed from County Cork and County Donegal, Ireland.
Always honoring her Ancestry and the “True Flavor of the Immigrants of Ireland,” her skilled personal choreography beautifully blends the vibrant toe-tapping, hand-clapping Old Ancestral Style of Irish Dance with today’s popular more modern flair.
Featuring Irish tunes played by Irish fiddlers Wendy Fieser, Lisa Menton Camera, Betsy Quackenbush, and Patrick Dowling.
