Join us on the beautiful campus of Kanuga for a contemplative, community building hike which culminates with a Celtic Eucharist.
About this Event

This experience is centered in Celtic Christianity’s belief that Incarnation, the physical revelation of God, first occurred when God created everything that is and second in the person of Jesus the Christ. Therefore Creation is sacred. On the Celtic Eucharist Hikes, we experience God in creation through community with other hikers, Scripture, silence, and the liturgy of the Eucharist which we celebrate along the trail.

The hike and liturgy begin at 9:00 a.m. We end our hikes and Eucharist at noon. All are invited to the optional community lunch on the Kanuga grounds below the porch overlooking the lake. You may purchase lunch at a discounted rate of $18 for a full lunch or $14.00 for a salad bar only lunch. If inclement weather requires cancelling any hike, an email will be sent no later than 7:00 a.m. the day of the hike. For information or to be added to our email list email [email protected].
