The ancient forest of Reenroe Beach in Ballinskelligs holds a deep and mysterious secret. Runes, hewn into the petrified wood and written in a long forgotten language hold the key to a sacred music ritual involving brass, bagpipes, and dancing that early celts believed would purify the soul and lead to a long and prosperous life. Archaeologists refer to this ritual as Dúiseacht Ceilteach - better known as… Celtic Awakening.
It's Denver Brass' signature Celtic show - what Westwords calls one of Denver's best annual St. Patrick's Day celebrations. It's a visual and sonic experience that only Denver Brass offers, made complete with brass, bagpipes, hammered dulcimers, soprano, and the best Irish and Highland dancing in town.
