Jackson Lee Lester, age 69, was called home by God on April 9 2026. Jackson was born in San Marcos, TX to Mary Jane Jackson and Mack Wills Lester on June 11, 1956, where he spent most of his childhood.
At age 13 Jackson was relocated to Brevard County, Fl. where he spent most of his adult life.
He fathered two daughters and became an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
His love of building would lead him to become a master craftsman and concrete finisher. He went on to own and operate Jackson Lester concrete for a period of time .
He was a lover of nature who loved to fish and took his family on many camping trips when his daughters were young.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, older brother William Warren (Bud) Lester, younger brother Patrick Countryman and niece Mary Kay Lester.
He left behind three older siblings Mack Wills (Tinker) Lester, Linda Diane Nicholas, Lonnie Dale Lester and Randall Joe Lester. Daughters: Melanie Faye Lester Nordfors and Lisa Marie Lester. 5 grandchildren: Amanda Nicole Nordfors, Tyler Ray McLain Wright, Michael Anthony Nordfors Jr., James Daniel Nordfors, and Imagene Fayte Wright. He also had several nieces and nephews and seven great grandchildren.
His patient, calm demeanor and good humor will be missed by so many .
Please come help us celebrate his life May 17 2026 at Marina Park in Titusville at 3 PM. It’s on the river so bring your fishing pole and favorite memories about Jackie to share as a tribute to celebrate the time we were lucky to have with him.
Heaven became a little brighter when God called him home.
