About this Event
Are you 16-25 years-old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?
The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole - no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.
To celebrate all of your hard work so far, we will be joined by Emily from BARI (Birds and Recreation Initiative), who will be pointing out some of the over wintering wading birds in the harbour and discussing some of Poole habours habiats and their importance in bird conservation.
A great chance to network, reflect on the work you've put in, and celebrate the experience you've gained.
Wearing sturdy footwear is essential, and please bring waterproofs. Bring a drink and some lunch with you, and binoculars if you have them.
This event is for those who have previously attended our Ranger Work Experience sessions. You will be issued with an event specific password, if you have attended enough sessions.
To register your interest and gain full access to our ranger sessions, or if you have any questions, contact us on: [email protected] - booking is required.
This session is aimed at young people who must be able to attend and work independently. In some sessions we will be using tools and working with other members of the public, so the attendees will need to be responsible for themselves and their conduct whilst attending.
The Parks Foundation charity enhances parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole so that people and wildlife can flourish.
