About this Event
Join the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) in collaboration with RENEW, a partnership programme focused on developing solutions for the renewal of biodiversity, as we hold events on Monday 18 May in advance of the International Day for Biological Diversity (World Biodiversity Day) 2026.

AGENDA
Monday 18 May
11.30 - 12.30 : Foraging walk on Penryn Campus led by Dr Jonathan Bennie from the Department of Earth and Environmental Science. Please meet in front of the ESI cafe.
12.30 - 13.00 : View some of the creative materials produced by the RENEW project team over lunch. This will be held in the ESI Creative Space.
13.00 - 14.00 : A talk by landscape architect Melissa Ralph from Cormac on the project 'Making Space for Nature.' This was a collaboration between the University of Exeter, Cornwall Council and Cormac. The talk will be held in the ESI Trevithick Room.
18 - 22 May
09.00 - 17.00 : Exhibition of the creative materials produced by the RENEW project team in the ESI Creative Space (no registration required).
All these events are open to our staff, students and community members.
