Claire Kohda is an English writer and musician. Her 2022 debut novel 'Woman, Eating' is a unique exploration of millennial angst, race and misogyny told through a refreshing perspective of a struggling artist vampire. Coming from a multitalented background of music and journalism, her storytelling is diverse and honest.

Rachel Seiffert has published four novels, 'A Boy in Winter', 'The Dark Room', 'Afterwards', and 'The Walk Home'. She is one of Virago's most critically acclaimed contemporary novelists. Seiffert's fiction examines the guilt, morality and politics surrounding family history and identity, drawing on her own background as British with German and Australian parents. "I don’t think novels can change the world, or change people’s minds necessarily, but they can give space for nuance, for more considered explorations of human experience."

CN Lester is a multi-genre musician, author and transgender rights activist. Their debut 2019 novel 'Trans Like Me' examines the myths and misconceptions of trans people, spotlighting the essential discussions of gender politics drawn through and personal experiences. An essential and poignantly powerful voice of our time!
