Dancing is a universal activity shared by cultures throughout the world! This event will invite you to experience dances from England, North America, Chile, and Eastern Europe. The dances will be presented and taught by members of Village Green English Country Dancers, Peg City Contra, Manitoba International Folk Dancers and Chile Lucha Y Canta Dancers and everyone will be invited to participate! Over a period of three hours our dancers will take turns introducing a selection of our dances.
The event will finish with a colourful performance by the Chilean dancers and a final audience participation dance. For those who are interested information will be provided about the activities of each of the four participating groups.
