Please join us to learn about innovative, interdisciplinary research designed to improve the “Golden Years” of life and to hear about a Tai Chi community that has met Saturday mornings in Griffith Park for over 50 years.

Professor Lené Levy-Storms holds joint positions in the schools of Public Policy and Medicine at UCLA. She studies social support networks, communication issues, and the need accommodating design for older adults. Her interdisciplinary work includes:

Sifu Kenny Klimak is a member of the Bronson Park Tai Chi community which has met weekly for over 50 years, and he has served as their instructor since 2006. He is
president of the National Tai Chi Chuan Association.
He studied with Marshall Ho’o and Dan Paik, the Bronson Park Community’s first two instructors.
He has been noted for leading the Bronson Park Tai Chi community “with skill and insight, carrying the torch of those who came before him.” He gathers people from all styles of martial arts and all walks of life, fostering a community of regular practitioners.
