On Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 4:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m., the MWRD will host an evening of inspiration and celebrate this year’s Black History Month theme, “African Americans and Labor.”
This event will honor the significant contributions and enduring legacy of Black Americans in the workforce, highlighting the central role labor has played in shaping their experiences and driving progress. The list of speakers is currently being finalized.
This event will be held at the Barbara J. McGowan Main Office Building, 100 E. Erie Street, Chicago.
