About this Event
This event will showcase the impact of Sunderland Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, facilitate industry-academia networking and commemorate the 50th anniversary of KTPs.
For those unaware, the KTP Programme exists to invite a team of academic researchers and a full-time graduate or postgraduate into a company to work with them across a period of time (normally 2 years). It is an Innovate UK funded programme, with industry contributing towards project costs, depending on the size of the project. This event will give you the opportunity to meet the companies taking part, network and learn more about the KTP Programme in general.
The morning session is designed for decision-makers from SME's interested in developing cutting-edge technology. (Please note: this session is not relevant for public sector organisations).
The afternoon session is tailored for decision-makers from public sector organisations, SME's and third sector who are exploring people-centred or management-focused changes. Additionally, the event will conclude with a dedicated session specifically for the third sector, focusing on opportunities to drive innovation in technology and management.

Location and Contact – Hope Street Xchange
The closest public car park is a 7 minute walk away at the Riverside Multi Storey Car Park.
If you plan to use the University car park, you will need to download the Just Park app and the location number is 807485. Please note, places are limited we would therefore not recommend reserving a space in advance through the app, as this does not reserve a specific parking spot - please do not pay in advance.
