About this Event
2026 marks the United Nations’ World Interfaith Harmony Week as usual during the first full week in February. This year its themes focus on unity, compassion, and action, with specific events highlighting "Love of God & Love of the Neighbour," "From Prayer to Action," fostering interfaith dialogue for a more inclusive world, encouraging youth storytelling, and community-led initiatives.
Contemporaneous with this, Martin Luther University College is celebrating 115 years of engagement in the three-fold theme of the UN’s harmony week by inviting the three most recent and current top leadership to address their tenure as it engaged with unity, compassion, and action in the higher education field. Drs. David Pfrimmer, Mark Harris, and Kristine Lund have carried our school for the past twenty-plus years, predating initiation of the UN Interfaith Harmony Week, founded in 2010, by several years.
This event will be hosted at Martin Luther University in Keffer Chapel, with a virtual option to attend as well. A Zoom link will be sent to all registrants the day before the event.
