Kingsley once believed that convincing Charmaine to marry him was the greatest achievement of his life. That certainty is tested when an unexpected moment from their past resurfaces, unsettling the future they thought they knew. After twenty-five years together, they must ask: is it too late to rediscover the redemptive power of love?

Warm, witty, and deeply human, The Wonder of It All is a contemporary comedy about long-term partnership, memory, and the quiet courage required to begin again.

A one-act version of The Wonder of It All was previously produced at the Here For Now Festival in Stratford, Ontario, under the artistic leadership of Fiona Mongillo, and directed by Seana McKenna. The full-length, two-act version expands this intimate exploration of modern love with humour and heart.

Performed in the warm, candlelit setting of the Lion’s Den at the Huether Hotel, this is pub theatre at its coziest: rich harmonies, familiar songs, familiar stories, and a perfect excuse to lean in, raise a glass, and spend an evening in good company.
