About this Event
Women Growers Cupping: Farmer Direct Relationship & Cup of Excellence Coffees
Carrboro Coffee Roasters is an artisan roaster that has drawn international attention since 2004. Our success lies in an unwavering commitment to personally sourcing the finest coffee through our Farmer Direct Relationship Program and our 20+ years of leadership in the Cup of Excellence Program worldwide.
To celebrate Women's History Month, join us for an exclusive coffee tasting event to explore some of the best coffees grown by women producers from these two programs.
We'll taste coffees grown by several women producers including:
- Nancy Hernandez of Finca Jazmin in Honduras
- Anabella Meneses of Santa Felisa Estate in Guatemala
- Edith Meza of Finca Tasta in Llaylla-Satipo in Peru
- Dehab Mesfin of Dehab Specialty Coffee in Ethiopia
- Givette Pérez Orea of Finca Fátima in Mexico
- Maria Aparecida Barroso Dos Santos of Sitio Vargem Grande in Brazil
Hosted at our expanded Roastery and Quality Control Lab at 1215 E Franklin Street, this in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded coffee lovers. Immerse yourself in a sensory experience as we taste a variety of coffees, highlighting the remarkable flavors that result from exceptionally produced coffee.
Don't miss out on this incredible chance to deepen your understanding of coffee and support the incredible women who make it possible. Grab your coffee-loving friends and join us at Women Growers Cupping: Farmer Direct Relationship & Cup of Excellence Coffees
