Join Rails to Trails Conservancy, Streets Calling, Varlo, Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) and other partners from the DMV at REI’s D.C. Flagship Store on Celebrate Trails Day, Saturday, April 27, for fun activities and opportunities to learn more about what’s happening to connect the D.C. region by trails. People can choose to join an 8-mile family friendly bike ride on the Met Branch Trail and hang out at the REI flagship to connect with people working across the region to make it safer and easier for everyone to walk, bike and be active outside.
The Met Branch Trail is part the D.C. region's developing Capital Trails network, which is connecting over 990 miles of trails in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
