On the fourth Saturday of April, Rails to Trails Conservancy invites everyone, everywhere to join us outside for Celebrate Trails Day!

Celebrate Trails Day is so much more than a day outside. It’s a national moment, powered by local participation, that grows public appreciation and support for America’s trails. Started by RTC in 2013, this annual springtime celebration encourages people to get outside and experience the joy and impact that trails bring to our lives.

Here’s how to participate:
📅 Join an event: Every year, we team up with our partners to bring the celebration to communities across the country! As we get closer to the big day, we’ll share more information about all the group rides, cleanups, hikes and festivals being planned: RailsToTrails.Org/CelebrateTrails
🚲 Plan your own outing: There are more than 42,000 miles of multiuse trails nationwide. You can design your own day on the trail using our free trail-finder website and app, TrailLink.com, and by browsing our list of activities and tips for ideas: RailsToTrails.org/tips-and-resources.

Most Celebrate Trails Day Events are not hosted by Rails to Trails Conservancy, but if and when you participate in one that is, you assume all risks.
