Celebrate Their Journey: UK Summer Programme Farewell Party

Join us on Wednesday, August 21 for a joyful send-off celebration marking the end of an unforgettable six-week journey for our 10 Saharawi students and their teachers. This is a beautiful opportunity to come together — with the children, their UK supporters, and members of the Saharawi diaspora — to reflect, share, and celebrate everything we’ve experienced and accomplished together.

Expect vibrant Saharawi music and dance, warm conversation, and a heartfelt atmosphere of connection and community. Food and drinks will be provided, and you're warmly welcome to bring a dish if you’d like! We’ll label all dishes to help guests with dietary restrictions.

If you’d like to contribute a small item for the students to bring back to their families in the refugee camps, we are gratefully collecting:

• Unopened, non-expired over-the-counter medicines (e.g., pain relievers, vitamins)
• Quality skin moisturizers and soap
• Quality UK protection sunglasses
• Small electronics (used but well-functioning phones, laptops, tablets)
• Baby clothes and nappies
• Souveniers that will remind them of the UK

Due to airline limits, no large or heavy items, please — compact, useful gifts are ideal.
