About this Event
National Tree Week is coming up at the end of November and this is a great opportunity to celebrate trees in Thanet!
Take a walk with us in the park guided by tree expert Peter Hasted, to discover what these trees mean to so many people and the challenges of growing trees on the peninsula of Kent.
The walk will last 1.5 to 2 hours and will be a great opportunity to discover more about the beauty of trees and urban woodland ecology. Meeting point details will be sent by us in your confirmation email.
Come along to see how the trees planted in 2022 are progressing. Discover the range of woodland and wildlife within the Park, the diversification and increase in the local urban canopy.
"Fantastic tree walk with Peter! I learnt a huge amount about the different trees within the Park and what to look out for on them. I'd highly recommend attending one in the future!"
