This hands-on experience invites kids and teens to celebrate mom (or a mother figure) while creating something beautiful in our warm, elevated studio setting.

More than just a workshop, this is a memory-making experience you’ll cherish long after the last cupcake is gone.

During this experience, participants will decorate 6 Mother’s Day-inspired cupcakes featuring:

• Elegant buttercream piping in soft, spring-inspired tones
• Textured fondant detailing using stamps and embossing techniques
• Floral-inspired accents and premium decorative finishes
• Creative freedom to design a beautiful, personalized cupcake set

Instruction is beginner-friendly and guided by Chef Tai, making this experience both fun and approachable for all skill levels.

• Duration: Approximately 60–75 minutes. Workshop timing may vary slightly and may end a few minutes early or run a few minutes over depending on the pace of the decorators.
• Supplies: All decorating supplies included (aprons provided for use during the workshop)
• Skill Level: Beginner-friendly; no experience needed
• Format: Interactive and hands-on. Parental assistance required for kids 4 & Under.
• Experience Size: A minimum of 4 families is required to hold the workshop. If minimum enrollment is not met, registered guests will receive a full refund. Space is limited; advance registration is required.

Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the event. Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. Cancellations made after 7 days may receive a credit toward a future class. No credits will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the class date.

ABOUT CHEF TAI

• Chef Tai is the Co-Owner and Pastry Chef of 5-12 Dessert and The Baker’s Lab at 5-12 Dessert.
• She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University
• Studied abroad at the Florence University of the Arts in Italy
• Has over 15 years of experience in the baking industry.
• Is a former high school Baking & Pastry Arts teacher.
