In 2026, It’s America’s 250th, Lititz’s 270th, Lititz Historical Foundation’s 65th, and our Mary Oehme Gardens turn 30. So let’s celebrate! Join us for Celebrate Lititz weekend June 12th – 14th!
THREE BIG DAYS!
Unless otherwise noted, all events are free and will take place at the Lititz Historical Foundation located at 145 East Main Street, Lititz, PA
On Friday, June 12th, join us at 5:30pm for Founder’s Day! It was on June 12th, 1756, that the official naming of Lititz took place. Come help us mark the anniversary of this event with a flag ceremony, guest speakers, refreshments, live music, a special 270th birthday cake, and more! Please bring chairs or blankets and plan for a wonderful evening! BIG thanks to LOA

The next day on June 13th, join us for our History Festival from 11am to 5pm for a great day of history, fun, and lasting memories for the entire family. We’ll have reenactors, guided tours, demonstrators, artisans, a food truck, and a dozen local historical societies will be on hand. Admission is free. Guided tours, which are available for a fee, can be booked below:

Then, on Sunday June 14th, join us at the Lititz Moravian Church’s sanctuary from 3pm to 5pm (8 Church Square, Lititz) for a historic Moravian Singstunde (singing hour). After that, enjoy a tour and demonstration of two colonial pipe organs in Fellowship Hall.
Later that evening, join us in our Mary Oehme Gardens at the historical foundation beginning at 6:30pm as we welcome the Lititz Community Band! June 14th is Flag Day and the Lititz Community Band will be presenting “A Star-Spangled Salute to America” which will feature patriotic music. Come dressed in red, white, and blue! Bring your chairs and blankets and invite your friends, family, and neighbors. We thank Nadine and Gaylord Poling for making this concert possible. Thank You! Refreshments available by donation.
The concert is a pay what you can event. We will be collecting donations that evening to help preserve our gardens and 18th century structures.
