Easter morning begins quietly. The sun rises slowly, the air still cool, and the world feels like it is just waking up. Long ago, on a morning like that, a few faithful followers of Jesus walked toward a tomb, carrying grief and questions. What they found instead changed everything. The stone was rolled away. The grave was empty. Hope was alive.That is the story we celebrate on Easter.
At Plainfield United Methodist Church, we gather to remember that moment when sorrow turned to joy and death gave way to life. Easter reminds us that light breaks through darkness and that hope still has the final word.
You are invited to come celebrate with us. Join us for Easter worship at 8:45 or 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Whether you attend church regularly or it has been a while, you are welcome here. Come dressed up or come as you are—just come.
