Celebrate Access: Braille and Beyond! is the signature event of the Expanded Core on the Road instructional series. This engaging event is designed for ANY Kansas student aged 3-21 with a visual impairment who would like to participate in celebrating the unique ways they access the world.Students will participate in skill development with peers of similar age and ability through hands-on activities across all areas of Expanded Core Curriculum. Specific focus will be given to:
Compensatory Skills (including braille)
Independent Living
Sensory Efficiency
Recreation & Leisure
Orientation & Mobility
