On March 4, 2024, deeply distressed by the genocide--including starvation--going on in Gaza, Mid-Missouri Peaceworks, with the support of Mid-Missouri Fellowship of Reconciliation and Mid-Missouri Veterans for Peace, launched a daily peace vigil held by the Keyhole near CoMo City Hall. A year has nearly passed and we've not missed a single day. Rain or shine, on days bitterly cold and others swelterlingly hot, we continue to publicly advocate for a just settlement of the Israel-Palestine conflict. And, we have expanded our focus to peace and justice more generally, including opposition to the toxic MAGA agenda.
We hope you will join us for any portion of the time, 12:15-12:45 on Tuesday, March 4, as we celebrate the commitment to peace that has brought us together and motivates us to continue into our second year on the corner.
