Dear Friend of The Cecilia Chorus of New York,This season marks our 120th anniversary! Join us in celebration at Carnegie Hall on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 8:00pm for BULLER, SIROTA & HAYDN, with orchestra, soloists, and guest choruses.
The program features the world premiere of Robert Sirota’s A Call for the Battle to Cease with pianist Simone Dinnerstein, the New York premiere of Mass in Exile by Mark Buller and Leah Lax with guitarist David Leisner, and excerpts from Haydn’s Mass in Time of War.
“Over our 120-year history, the Chorus has been a testament to the enduring power of voices united in pursuit of beauty and meaning. This season represents not just where we’ve been, but where we’re heading—embracing new works, championing living composers, and exploring timeless questions of peace, justice, and human connection through the power of the human voice.”
