In its eighth iteration, Song Fest is back this fall with not one but two stellar musicians: Nationally known singer/songwriter Freedy Johnston returns to rock Chelsea, with multi-genre singer Joy Jan Jones providing backup vocals on a selection of songs. Schedule of events:
7:15–7:30pm | Teen Showcase Opener - The winner of CDL’s Teen Showcase (featuring local teen bands and musicians) will open the night for Freedy!
7:30–8pm | Up Close with Freedy Johnston - Join us for a pre-concert live interview hosted by Jeremy Baldwin from WEMU Radio, who will talk with singer-songwriter Freedy Johnston about his career, influences, and craft.
