At the info session, you’ll learn about the training schedule and content.
To qualify for the program, you must meet all of the following:
-Be age 18 or older and not currently enrolled in high school
-Have high school diploma/GED
-Be a Minnesota resident
-Have U.S. work authorization
-Be able to attend all class sessions
-Be able to communicate proficiently in English
-Identify as immigrant, refugee, or person of color
-Have a valid MN driver's license and verify driving record will not limit your ability to get a CDL and become employed
Training participants explore highway construction careers, study for permit test, and prepare for applying for jobs in the industry. Eligible participants complete behind-the-wheel license training at Dakota County Technical College and earn a class A CDL.
