Coastal Carolina University's Department of Music presents theUNIVERSITY ORCHESTRA:
CONCERTOS AND CHAMBER WORKS
The University Orchestra presents its spring performance featuring student soloists in works of brilliance and virtuosity under the direction of Stevie Martinez, lecturer in the Department of Music. The program includes Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in C Major for Piccolo and Domenico Dragonetti’s Concerto for Double Bass, highlighting the expressive range of two contrasting instruments. Alongside these concertos, the ensemble will perform select chamber works that showcase the versatility of its musicians.
