CCMG Spring Series Class # 5: Container Gardening
Do you have limited space to garden or just want to expand what you have? Try Containers! It's the Year of the Container Garden! Join Carroll County Master Gardeners and learn how to grow vegetables and fruits in a variety of containers, why size matters and the importance of using the proper potting media. Examine different potting mixes and amendments on the market and see how they compare.
Participants will make their own potting mix to take home! Please bring gloves and a bucket (or similar) to transport. Quantity of media is limited to 3 gallon (approx. 16qt, enough to fill a 12" tall & wide pot). Choose some free seeds to get started growing!
This class is appropriate for age 15+; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
This class is indoors.
Please bring a pen and notebook/paper for note taking.
