Welcome to the CCMG Spring Series Class #2: Basics of Seed Starting happening at Carroll County Extension Office on March 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time)!
Ready to plant your seeds and have no idea how to start? Let Carroll County Master Gardeners guide you through the process! From setting up to sowing to transplanting, we can help you be a successful seed starter! Participants will enjoy an informative presentation then have fun sowing seeds in their own starter kit. The mix of seeds started will be perfect for transplanting later into containers for the deck/patio or directly into the gardens.
Please bring a notebook/pen or pencil to take notes.
Participants will be working with damp potting mix, please wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
This class is appropriate for age 12+, must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
