MAGASIN 4 PRESENTS :CCHHRRIISSTTOODD (BE) (Experimental Hip-Hop)
Contrarian, between friend and foe, from raw reality to psychedelic fantasy. CCHHRRIISSTTOODD sits between 2 worlds. This is reflected not only in his lyrics, but also in his music production.�An eclectic mix of genres ranging from punk, rap and industrial to hip-hop, witchhouse and rave influences. Sometimes assisted live by a drummer sometimes as a one man army.
That his name resembles a graphic pattern, by the way, is not a random choice but a tribute to his tattoo career as Blecktattoo.
In 2023, he released not only 4 singles but also a rock-hard EP with producer Mathlovsky (also known for MODDER) called "DRUG DEALERS. This EP blasts experimental hip-hop to gabber, all within just 10 minutes. Consequently, it was a big hit with the sweaty chopping bodies in the dark club "Funke" during their set at STIMULAR.
CCHHRRIISSTTOODD keeps scoring with the right audience, dividing opinions and broadening people's tastes, but most of all it knows how to entertain a group of spectators.

Après avoir navigué dans le milieu du hip-hop pendant de nombreuses
années, Gus, collectionneur de crânes de bestioles crevées depuis ses 6 ans,
crée en 2020 le concept des Amis Nos Morts. Un set solo qui prouve une bonne fois pour tout qu’il vaut mieux être seul que mal enterré.
Mélange de programmation, d’électronique et d’impression 3d, les aminaux
prennent vie. Ces êtres, de calcium et de plastique sont animés en direct,
réagissant aux sons qui leurs sont envoyés.
Appuyés par un show lumière lui aussi contrôlé en live, les aminaux
prennent une 4ème dimension une fois projetés en ombres sur les panneaux
présents de part et d’autre de la scène.
NICE GUISE (BE) (Post Punk / Techno)
In the uninspiring corners of open-space offices, and administrative work, some employees find a space for resistance and creativity through subversion and sabotage, against the anger generated by the neutral and cruel absurdity of the corporate environment.
In this compilation, Nice Guise engages with transpersonal subjects such as mental health, work place abuse and sexuality. For the past two years, while touring through Brussels with their abrupt live performance, Nice Guise has been fostering collective experiences where repressed personal emotions get to be shared on the dancefloor.
Nice Guise crystallizes their ongoing activity with the collection Candid shots. Like an aggregate in the orbs of the post-punk movement and the remnants of the Dada avant-garde, the band presents studio sessions, concert recordings, and sonic residues on the same level, thus making poor material their inspiration.
