Despite snow on the ground and ice on the canal, CCC is thinking about spring. That’s because we’re already prepping to perform at Podium in Victoria come May!To make sure all our choristers can attend the conference and festival (and a Vancouver Island tour, stay tuned for more info on that!), we are excited to announce our first ever fundraising concert:
To Love and Cherish
Music from CCC weddings
Feb 14, 2026 1:30pm
One of the perks of being a CCC member? You have a built-in choir for your wedding! We’ve performed for at least eight members’ weddings over the years and we’re delighted to share some of the stunning music they’ve featured, including a world premiere, written specially by a composer (and singer in CCC) to their new spouse. <3
Alongside the concert, we’re having a silent auction featuring works from Kettlehole Pottery. All proceeds will go directly to CCC. Listen to some love-filled music, then grab your sweetie some fabulous pottery for Valentine’s Day!

If you can’t attend To Love and Cherish, there’s still plenty of opportunities to support the choir! Join us for our Feb 27th candlelit performance of Rautavaara’s Vigilia, a moody, ethereal piece that invites you to reflect. It has been described as a “symphonic poem” for choir. RSVP to our Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1400671818261348
If you’ll be missing both performances, you can always donate to the choir following this link:https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/capital-chamber-choir-corporation/
We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing beautiful music with you this month!
