Ron Weatherly - Ron’s entrepreneurial journey is defined by a proven track record of transforming ideas into thriving businesses. Over the years, he’s successfully built and scaled 11 companies across diverse sectors, including construction, demolition, and real estate. Ron has a unique ability to take a business from concept to profitability, consistently driving growth even in challenging environments.
While Ron’s journey to success hasn’t always been smooth—his first three businesses didn’t succeed—he learned valuable lessons from those experiences. Had he not faced the struggles of his early failures, he likely wouldn’t have had the insight to start Dry Pro Foundation & Crawlspace Specialists, one of his proudest accomplishments. Under Ron’s leadership, Dry Pro grew from the ground up to just south of $30 million in revenue, employed 165 people, and earned industry recognition before he successfully sold the company in 2020.
In addition, Ron acquired Advanta Clean in 2005, growing it into a network of six franchises before selling in 2016. Another milestone came when Ron led a business from $500,000 to $1.3 million in just 12 months—proof of his ability to rapidly scale operations and drive profitability in a short amount of time. More recently, he purchased a real estate company that had a 45% occupancy rate and successfully increased it to over 90%.
Ron’s leadership advice is simple but powerful: Create a culture of trust, empower your team to lead, and focus on the bigger picture. These principles, coupled with his commitment to personal and professional growth, have been the driving forces behind his career and will continue to guide his work for years to come.

Originally from Indiana, and a graduate of Purdue University, Randy and his wife have lived in Matthews for 24 years, where he also serves on the board of a local non-profit childcare center. He is a past recipient of the Matthews Chamber of Commerce’s “Businessperson of the Year” award.
Randy frequently volunteers his time as facilitator of meetings and events. And he has facilitated several CBEX events in recent years.
