Somatic meditation is an approach that welcomes the body and all of its experience into the meditation space. We will explore practices and principles that enhance grounding and self-awareness while also deepening rest energetic balance and sensory enjoyment. Including and honouring your body makes meditation feel easier and more natural. The idea is to align with your instincts desires and emotions to bring a sense of harmony to your whole self.
In this special session we will also have the power of medicinal cannabis oil to support us on our inward journey. CBD oil is known to soothe pain release tension and stress expand awareness and help the body and mind naturally shift towards states of ease and relaxation. As such it is a potent support for meditative and introspective practices.
If you’ve ever felt that meditation was too hard for you because of a racing mind or that the way you were meditating didn’t really land---your body could be the missing piece in the equation and/or the addition of CBD may be just the thing you need to go deeper. The combination of a somatic approach and CBD is also a wonderful way to regulate your nervous system and foster healing recovery and stress reduction.
The session is open to all no prior experience with meditation is required. We will start with a brief explanation of how somatic meditation and CBD work followed by a guided practice of ~30 minutes and some time to rest. Afterwards there will be time for discussion and Q&A where you can clarify your experience share your thoughts and ask questions.
