CBA North West Spring Conference

We all work with heritage in different ways, and while the CBANW will always offer updates and insights into the region’s archaeological works, its easy to forget that the archaeological record is also researched and investigated by those just outside our archaeological bubble. Adjacent to our own research areas.
This Spring conference aims to bring some of those people to the forefront and offer our members a new insight into how heritage is viewed from beyond the edge of the trowel! We hope that our members will enjoy this exploration of disciplines who work alongside our own.

We will also have some short Lunch time tours of the Impact Scarring of St Marys in Nantwich, from Keith Larwence following on from his wonderful talk at the Autumn Conference, and books for sale from Nantwich Museum throughout the day.

The venue is St Marys Parish Hall, Church Walk, Nantwich CW5 5RG (opposite the church itself)
By rail: The venue is less than 10 mins walk from Nantwich Rail Station, or two mins by bike.
By bus: The main Nantwich bus station on Beam Street is approximately 4 mins walk from the venue.
By road: There are several council run car parks in Nantwich which can be found on the webpages for Nantwich Town Council and Cheshire East Council however, there are time restrictions. A private car park is located on Bowers Row, CW5 5DZ and allows all day parking.

Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits will be provided. The venue is within Nantwich Town centre and has easy access to cafes and shops where lunch can be purchased. Alternatively, attendees who bring their own packed lunch can eat in the venue.

The conference will be split over two floors but there is a lift provided.
