Yes you heard it right! Speakeasy are doing a poetry slam! In memory of the late, great Steve Cawte and proudly part of the Wonderground Festival organised by the irrepressible Georgia Preece.The winner of the slam will win a paid feature slot at a Linklings event, and a cruise!* There’s even talk of a trophy!
Details of the slam are as follows:
- 2 knockout rounds
- Followed by a 3rd round final (so bring 3 of your best!)
- Strict 3 minutes each round
- It’s all for fun! You will be judged, but you won’t be, if you know what I mean! ;-)
- Panel of 3 guest judges
