To celebrate International Working Women's Day, please join the Otago Socialist Society for a walking tour that will cover the often-neglected history of working women in one of Ōtepoti's oldest industrial suburbs.We will begin the tour from the old Carisbrook Hotel at 149 South Road, before heading up South Road deeper into Caversham and then South towards Bathgate Park. The overall distance of the route for the tour is about 2.5km. We expect to wrap up by 3PM, when we may well follow the tour up with a drink at a nearby pub.
