We will be doing a School Discovery field trip and Geo Lab Demonstration at Cave of the Winds. Please arrive at 8:30. Field trip needs to start at 9:00am. They were very gracious to allow us to have a field trip on Spring break and asked that we be on time and have an early start time of 9am. Prices:
$10 per child k-8th
$17 per high schooler/adult
RSVP BY JANUARY 30th! We need a minimum of 15 people (kids & adults included in #). RSVP by commenting on this event with #of people attending in each age category (k-8 & HS/adult).
There are several free activities available after the tour and you can pan for geodes for $3 a student (paid separately after tour).
To ensure we get the group discount rate, we must pay in bulk upon arrival at the tour. All fees are due on/by March 13th. You may drop off payments (cash or check) to the Penrose Community Library, pay by card (please message us for a link to pay), or if you are in our co-op classes you can pay Amanda directly.
